Laylatul Qadr: A Night More Magnificent Than Time
In the Islamic calendar, Laylatul Qadr, also called the Night of Power, is one of the most important evenings. According to the Holy Quran, Allah (SWT) says that this night is "better than a thousand months" (Surah Al-Qadr 97:3), which means that every act of worship done on this night would be rewarded with more than 83 years of devotion. By taking advantage of this unique opportunity, believers can quickly reap great spiritual dividends.
The Importance of Qadr Laylatul
1. The Evening of the Holy Quran's Disclosure
The night that Allah (SWT) revealed the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is known as Laylatul Qadr. After being sent down to the lowest heaven in its entirety, the Quran was progressively revealed over the course of 23 years. Insisting that believers deepen their faith and dedication to Allah's word, this night serves as a reminder of the Quran's profound instruction for mankind.

2. An Unmatched Rewarding Night
Laylatul Qadr offers more blessings than a lifetime of worship. Every act of kindness, prayer, request, and good action done on this night is repaid as though it had been done consistently for over 83 years. There is no other time of year that offers such a chance for spiritual advancement and divine grace.

3. Pardoning and Considering Requests
Accepting prayers and forgiving sins are two of Laylatul Qadr's greatest rewards. Aishah (RA), the wife of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), learnt a unique prayer to recite on this night:
"Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa’fu anni" ( "O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive, so forgive me." )
Sincere repentance, pleading for Allah's compassion, and requesting both material and everlasting bounties are all encouraged for believers.
